About Paul

Hi.  I’m Paul and I am diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.  I have learned of my condition about ten years ago when I was at the peak of my adult life.  The future looked bright and I had my whole life ahead of me.  I was young and I felt that I can do anything and nothing would ever happen to me.

Now, my life is different.  My life is now full of insulin injections and a wheelchair to move me around.  I had my leg amputated about five years ago and my life has never been the same.

Looking back now, I know that I have not taken good care of myself.  I ate so much junk food (chocolates, cakes, cookies, chips, fast food, etc.) and I did not even bother to exercise. I took the symptoms lightly and did not see a physician right away.  I was in denial and it made things worst.

I have put up this blog in an effort to help other people like me and to create awareness of this disease.  Feel free to post your comments and/or questions on this blog.  Let us all help each other.

Please pray for me and for all others who have this disease.
