i need help with this diabetes questions?
how much insulen would you need to get your blood sugar in to the 20 or where is say low and how much insullen to give your self to pass out. i am about 10-15 minuts i am 13 and weight about 120 i need to know i have done it but i did not go that low my blood sugar just went down and down after soem juice. i need some answers pleaseeee
Nobody can answer that question for you, because everyone’s insulin sensitivity is different. I know a woman with type 1 who uses just one unit of insulin to correct a 180 mg/dl glucose level down to 90; I would use four units to make that same correction.
In addition, your insulin sensitivity varies based on the type and intensity of exercise you’ve done in the last 2-3 days, so even if you know for today, it might be different next week.
