It sounds like you have a new type one diabetic in the family. First comes the honeymoon period where they ignore they have the disease.
Yet tell everyone how good their tests are, all lies. Even a out of control diabetic can still function normally with just small amounts of insulin. It’s really doing damage to their bodies that they can’t see because they become used to it. They think it’s normal, things like blurred vision, frequent bathroom runs, tenderness and body aches, & headaches just to name a few. http://www.medtronic.com/our-therapies/diabetes-management/index.htm is a good place to start taking care of them. As far as meals go, it’s not rocket science. Everything you eat is broken down into a sugar that the cells of your body can feed on. Insulin is what allows the cells of your body to absorb that sugar. Over simplified but easy to understand. Insulin pump therapy is the best way to go.

It sounds like you want us to do your homework for you. You’re online so why not do the research yourself?

A study by www.pcrm.org found that you can improve your blood sugar level by 59% in only 3 months by switching to a strict vegan diet… You can go to www.goveg.com for a free starter kit.
