My friend recently went to the doctor and was told that she needs to stop eating anything with legs, only fish is okay. But she doesn’t like fish, so the doctor basically told her that she should become a vegetarian. I told her that would be a good choice to make for her health and that she should listen to her doctor. She does not want to because she insists doctors don’t know diddly squat about diets/nutrition. I really care about her well being and would like her to make the right choice. She has health problems caused by her weight, like high cholesterol, blockage, high blood pressure, etc, and if she does not change something, she is headed for a heart attack pretty shortly. How can I convince her to take the doctor’s advice without being to pushy?
