FDA Issues Hold On Debated Avandia Study
Federal health officials are barring new patients from enrolling in a safety study of GlaxoSmithKline’s controversial diabetes pill Avandia, a week after a panel of experts ruled that the drug increases heart risks.

My father is on a mission to lose some 50lbs after getting out of the hospital. He has type 2 diabetes and just had a heart attack. He also has respiratory issues – trouble breathing, and low oxygen.

He is trying Seattle Sutton’s but the amount of sugars in their meal plans are double the USDA recommendations, let alone (he is diabetic.) Are there any links to meal ideas and recipes – recommended diet plan? Balancing ALL THREE health issues simultaneously is obviously very difficult.
