My Dad is 88 and has been taking a pill a day for years for diabetes. His levels are good daily from blood pokes. What is happening is that from his knees up to his waste he said is like ice at times. He said he gets so cold and it gets VERY bad. The dr. said this is a odd area but is putting him thru some BLOOD tests. He wears long underware and blankets but is freezing in that certain area only…from the knees up to the waste. His feet and legs are great..no problems.. Any ideas what this could be with the circulation, what to have him tested for and anything he can do to help this?

My mom wants to drug test me to make sure I quit smoking which I was suppose to I am slowly trying to quit by reducing smoking from every day to once in a while but i need to give her a urine sample but I know I will come out dirty so my friend said he would replace my urine with his but he has diabetes my question is if it would matter in the test?
