Hi there. There is someone very close to me that has diabetes and live a normal life, besides 4 shots a day. However over the last ten years or so has slowly decreased in her memory capacity. For example, I will tell her a major piece of new and the next day will totally forget I mentioned it or she will bring something up that I had already answered her on before, etc. She also can be kind of spacey sometimes. In the last five years, she has had some reactions, and about four of them were in the middle of the night where her sugar level was in the low teens. Do you think her diabetes or these bad reactions can cause any mental effects? Is there any help or hope? Please help me… Thanks in adavance.
By the way, she is in her mid 50′s.
