Has anyone experienced weakness or seizures using Lantus? I have been taking it for about 3 weeks now . I didn’t feel this way before taking lantus. My doctor said that it isn’t the lantus. I just want to make sure that no one else has experienced that.

I have type 2 diabetes. I have been taking insulin shots for over 2 years. I had a weight problem, but have lost this extra weight and my blood readings have been around 108-120 and have cut my insulin usage by about 95%. What is the chances of getting off insulin for good?
I have a doctor appt next month and was just wondering in the meantime.

I’ ve had the diabetes type 2 for 6 months and I’ am 45 years old. Recently, I sometimes feel like very hungry although I just finish my meal at that time, my head is wet with sweat. This last around 15 minutes and then everything is ok. Who knows it, please tell me what is it and how can I handle it. Tks a lot.( I’ m taking the Meformine everyday)

I am an Insulin dependent Diabetic. When I give my self injections, quite often the injection site would bleed out a portion of the formula. Does this mean I did not get my full dose? Do you know any tricks to keep it from doing this? If it does this should I take another shot?

What would happen if someone without diabetes injected themselves with insulin?
I haven’t actually done this, or even considered doing it. My boyfriend has diabetes and I don’t. We were just wondering what would happen to me if I did it.

I’ve heard that people who have diabetes can GO FOR MONTHS WITHOUT TAKING ANY INSULIN if they have been controlling their glucose levels up to that point keeping it at a normal level WITHOUT DYING.
ok, but for how long can you go without any taking any insulin if you have type 1?
