i cut out carbs is it ok to eat apples oranges and berries though? how about kiwis and pineapples daily? and dairy milk, cheese and yogurt?

I am a 17 year old female that now weights 260 pounds. When i was 12 i was told that i was insulin resistant.?
I didn’t know what being insulin resistant meant. Young and didn’t know what to do. My mom Is a diabetic and needs to take insulin shots. Does anyone know how much more longer i got before my insulin resistance turns into diabetes? And a diet plan that suits me best??
