this is really coming between us. we have a great relationship, but I dont know how to deal with a person with diabetes. what should I expect? how will this affect us as a couple?

what about our kids? will they get it or have increased risk?

Please help. I’m very confused. I do take in daily doses of insulin but with an inhaler. If I do have neither type 1 or type 2 diabetes, but some other form… Could I get type 1 or 2 in the future?

Lately I have been getting sharp pains that feel like they’re coming from the inside of my eye, or like from my top eyelid. The pain lasts for about 10 minutes, my eye twitches uncontrollably, then after 10 minutes it’s just fine.

Is this caused by having type 2 diabetes? Is it stress? or could it be something else?
I do follow my diet very strictly now, but I do not take the pills the same time every day .. I will start doing that as well

What does it mean for a diabetic to become “brittle”? I have heard this phrase used several times but don’t quite understand it. Do all diabetics eventually go “brittle”?

I’ve seen a few type 2′s that have a healthy diet, are fine in weight etc. How did they get Type 2 diabetes?

When some1 is just diagnosed with diabetes and their blood sugar is over 500 how long does that person have to stay in the hospital? And is it really nessessary for them to go to the hospital in the first place?

I only have that diabetes group for my yahoo emails so I occasionally get offline emails on it and answer them from there.
