Some drug companies do offer assistance for medications.
I would suggest that you look up the drug companies on-line and find their customer service phone number and call and ask.

The worst answer that you will get is no, or they will direct you to places that can help you with your medical expenses.

Just try you have nothing to lose!!!

Generally speaking, yes there is help in the United States.

You can talk to your druggist about it and he (or she) can help. If they tell you no, find another one.

If your wife can take generic drugs, many stores like Wal Mart can and will help also. Check with them.

If all else fails, check with a diabetic support group, they often know what is available in your area.

Good luck and God Bless

It depends on where you live.
I am a diabetic and I lived in toronto and they gave me $300 a month for diabetes supplies plus they paid for me to get an insulin pump.
I moved to Brunswick and they don't pay for anything.

So my suggestion is to go to her endocrinologist and ask about any health care plans that will help pay for diabetic supplies.
And I know in some countries like canada they offer a disability amount, and diabetics qualify for this so you may want to check about that as well.
Hope this helped!
